Sometimes I just think that the human mind is not designed to be perfect.. Maybe that's the reason why we ARE not perfect..
Today, mommy got angry because of the durian smell.. But I think she isn't really angry about the durian part but angrier at the part where no one listens to her. But today I was a little angry with her because I thought that she showed an attitude over the durian.. which is A FRUIT. I actually wanted her to know that she was in the wrong because people only want to eat durians at home like how everyone wants to eat dinner at home. So the smell is normal and it'll go away so there isn't really anything to be angry about..
But then she was actually feeling really upset. Okay, then I also started to feel upset too because I didn't want her to feel that way.
Then when she went out for a walk just now, I went out to see if she was alright. She tried to hide it but I knew. I knew she was crying. I could literally hear her heart crying out for help. Suddenly I remembered the incident many years ago, where she and my brother quarreled over something which made her cry damn badly. When she cried, I promise myself that I would do anything to prevent her from crying ever again.
It's like a dilemma. It's like you feel that you need to scold her but at the next moment, you switch sides and need to comfort her instead. So now here I am, hoping that she'll feel better and hoping that my dad will go and comfort her. So what should I do now? Side with her and say that bringing home the durian was wrong or go against her and say that it's just a durian and there's absolutely nothing to get angry about? I don't know what to do, because both choices would make things worse.. If I do nothing, then the problem will forever be there..
All I hope is that tomorrow will be a new day.. and all of these will be forgotten.
Every decision we make is always a wrong..
Therefore we are not and will never be perfect..

Friends are like angels, there are always there, even when you don't know it..

She sat there, her face buried in her hands, crying while they laughed at her. She felt mentally worn out. For two weeks they have been doing things to hurt her, both mentally and physically. She couldn't take it anymore.
Stop crying you stupid girl, She thought to herself. Stop showing to them that you are weak. But no matter how hard she tried, tears kept flowing out like a leaking tap which cannot be sealed. The corridor had gotten really crowded. Everyone was watching, most of them were laughing at her because she looked like a fool with all the flour and tomato sauce on her. She didn't know what to do, she couldn't move or say anything because she was too overwhelmed.
Feeling helpless, she did the only thing that she knew, she prayed. She prayed for an angel. An angel that would come and save her.
Suddenly the area in front if her had become darker. Someone was standing right in front of her. Through the gap between her fingers, she saw the person's feet. She looked up slowly to see who it was. A familiar face, She thought. His name.. what was his name? She couldn't remember. Standing there in front of her was the boy whom she had met a few days ago.. He wasn't like the rest. He stood there with a wide grin but unlike the others, he had offered a hand.
"Take my hand," He said. "Let's get out of here." She reached out and he pulled her up and brought her away. Away from the crowd, away from the nightmare.
That evening, she sat in her room at home staring into blank space, still traumatized by the incident at school. Sitting by the window, looking out from her second storey bedroom, she kept replaying the whole horrifying situation in her mind.
"Hey!" Someone shouted. She looked down and saw that a boy was standing there by the roadside. The very same boy who had rescued her from the bullies. "Come down!" He had shouted. "I'm gonna show you something really cool!" She refused at first but he kept insisting. So she reluctantly went downstairs to see what he wanted to show her.
What was it that is so important that he wants to show me? She thought. Maybe it was something small, or maybe it was a chocolate? No it wasn't. He grabbed her hand and pulled her along. She had no choice but to follow.
They turned left, they turned right, they went straight and went uphill. They were in the middle of nowhere. It was getting really creepy and she started to wonder where the boy was bringing her.
When they finally reached the summit of the hill, there was nothing there. She felt pissed and annoyed. "Are you trying to make fun of me or something?" She confronted the boy. The boy then gave that wide grin similar to the one he had given earlier that day. He then pointed at something far behind her.
"Look!" He said excitedly. She turned and saw the crimson red sheet of sky with a bright radiant ball of light that was disappearing into the horizon.. It is beautiful, she thought. And for the first time in many days, she smiled.
Moral of the story: Friends are like angels because they are always there, even when you don't know it..

Today was epic! Well yesterday (2/4/2011)..
When I was eating Popeyes during dinner today, a woman kept looking at our direction. At first Melanie thought that the woman was looking at her, but she saw that the woman was actually looking at me. I denied what she said and replied that maybe she was looking at something else. But when i looked at the woman, she looked back at me and I was like.. "oh I better not look to prevent encouraging us." At that time I had concluded that maybe she was a pervert(sorry I am not interested in old woman LOL) or something so I joked with Melanie saying that maybe the woman thought that I was her long lost son. And true enough when we finished our dinner and were about to leave, the woman came and talked to us, explaining that I really look like her son. So we were totally shocked and I was like "WHAT I SAID CAME TRUE HAHA" She also said that her son was 16 years old and was studying in st patrick school.. hmm.. I think she hasn't seen her son for a while. Yeah why else would a person think that another person look like her son if she sees him everyday? Hmm strange, I don't think I should know.. And I don't wanna know either..
Man is this really scary, what if someone really looks like me with the same exact features and behavior? Haha great! So maybe I can be someone else! I can be john, or peter, or bob, or all of them at the same time.. Haha scary..

Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you.. Unless things get serious..

Sometimes I just wonder what is wrong with some people. I just don't understand. When I was younger, my parents taught me this quote - "Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you" and I thought it made a lot of sense.
But recently, we heard a fight coming from my neighbour's house. So we were deciding whether to call the police or not. There was a girl screaming and crying and the dad was also screaming. I pity them, really. I was like let's ignore it since it always happen. (sorry if I sound very cold hearted in this situation because sometimes I don't know what I should do) However on that night, my parents decided to call the police. At that moment I thought, "Whatever happened to never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you?"
I am really really confused. How do you know when to act and when not to? Sometimes when you help people, you only bring trouble to yourself but sometimes when you don't help, things get worse. Is this what they call being in a dilemma? When I help people, they blame me for interfering with other people's business. But if I don't help people, they also blame me for ignoring something that can be prevented if i did something.
So what should I do when someone is in trouble next time? Help or don't help? Zzz..
