Why walk when you can fly?

Ever wonder what flying is like? The truth is, anyone can fly, but they need to choose to fly in order to do it and the only way to fly is to become an angel.
.

Angels.. ever wonder who they really are? No I'm not referring to the celestial ones, I'm referring to the human ones. Human angels, they are everywhere and they will always look out for you. It can be anyone, family, friends or even strangers.. It could even be the kid or the man in the train who gave up his/her seat for you when you were really tired or when you were really sick. So actually, we are not really that lonely in the world because there is always someone watching.. When you feel worthless or if you feel like shit, just know that there are angels always around you, and that they will always be willing to help you..

But the question here isn't whether there are human angels or not.. The question here is, are you one? Are you a human angel? Do you help others when they need help? Do you show your concern and care when someone is feeling down? Do you give your seat to someone who needs it more when inside a train?

It is a choice..

If you're doing it, then you are an angel to many people and you are actually flying..

If you're not doing it, then you should really start now because it would make your life so much easier. When you help people, people would also help you. Similarly, if you look out for people, people will also look out for you. Our life is all about caring for each other and helping one another..

Therefore, when you help or look out for another person, you become an angel, that is when you have wings and then you start to fly..

So why walk when you can fly?

Stars in the night sky makes you dream

Why are there always no stars in the night sky in Singapore? Doesn't it make the night seem empty? You look up and you see a blank sky when you should feel like there is an infinite number of possibilities out there.

The truth is, when you look up and see thousands of stars, you have this feeling that every happy moment is everlasting and that wishes do come true.

Sounds pretty much like how any child thinks, but stars gives you hope and they make you dream..

So I have decided that when I grow up, I'm gonna live somewhere where I am able to see endless amount of stars every night in the sky..

Because stars really help to make you dream..

Mommy's Birthday Bash! (Okay not really literally bash LOL)

This post is dedicated to one of the most special people in the world!

My mom!

No it's not a joke..

Today is mommy's birthday, and all of us came home to celebrate with her. I already feel so touched even though I am not her..

So to start off, we bought her a very special cake!

I present to you..

The Birthday Jelly Cake! Mommy likes jelly, so we figured that we did some modifications for this year's cake.. HAHA (hope you like it mom!) - It was all my dad's idea..

Anyway, moving on to my favourite part! The Presents! *__*

I got her a card which was split evenly among me and my bro!

And he got her some perfume(I think) which was also split evenly among bros..

My dad however, had his own card and present.

So to sum up, my mom had really nice gifts from us..

But no present can beat the love we have for each other, and I think the best gift my mom received is the love and care from her family! Happy Birthday Mom! :)

People Never Crumble In A Day

"People never crumble in a day, It's a slow fade.." - Slow Fade, Casting Crowns

I think that particular phrase is really meaningful. It talks about all of us.. People don't just lose everything in one day.. They don't just suddenly wake up one morning and suddenly lose everything.. It is the things they do which makes them lose all of it. It's the decisions they make which eventually leads them to that situation..

The decisions usually take a long time to get you in deep shit because it doesn't take one decision to land you there, it takes multiple decisions.. You make one after another, and that makes it a killer.

Now, you may think that you wouldn't land in that current situation no matter what. The truth is, you'll never know.. Some people don't realise that they are already on the road to their "doom" until it is too late. They were unaware that the choice they made was the wrong one. They weren't aware that what they did could lead them to the very place they were certain they wouldn't be in.. That is because they were not careful..

"Be careful little eyes what you see"

Temptation is always present in our lives, it often tempts us to quench our desire.. Therefore we are always not careful and end up seeing our desires, which is almost always bad..

"It's the second glance that ties your hands as darkness pulls the strings"

If we start to give in to our temptations, then things would become worse. We would take it to the next level. We would further do something else to further quench our desires.. This is the part where we would no longer have control and we start going downhill because we find ourselves doing more and more things which eventually leads to us losing everything we had..

In these kind of situations, we would often think of ourselves rather than what we have now. We would not think about others. We would always think about what we want.. Therefore people act on them and do not realise the consequences..

These are the steps that causes people to lose everything, and it usually takes a long time for it to progress until the end.. it's always a slow fade, and not a sharp fall..

Maybe an example,

A boy had a few close friends. In school, he learned that there were two groups of people, the popular ones and the not so popular ones. He wanted to be popular so he would do anything to become popular. In school, people get popular by making fun of others and bullying others because everyone thinks it's cool.

He then decided to do all that was necessary to become popular. He started to turn on his friends and made fun of them. He became more and more popular because he had the bad boy image.. However, as his popularity went up, his relationship with his friends went down.. That relationship and trust was slowing breaking away..

After a while, they stopped interacting with each other. The boy became popular, but he didn't have real friends anymore. Everyone knew him, but was it really worth it? Sacrificing his relationship with his friends over popularity.. It seemed like the necessary thing to do then and he gave in to temptation to do it and in the end he lost his true friends..

Desires.. temptations... that's all that is needed to cause you to lose everything.. Therefore the moral here is, be careful where you eyes look, be careful what your ears here, and be careful where you walk, because you might come across something that tempts you. Even when temptation draws you, do not give in, resist, for when you give in, you are on a one way road to your own destruction..

Remember, people do not crumble in a day, it's usually a slow fade, and you probably won't realise it until it is too late..

Shangri La!

Ever been to Shangri La?!! It's like a hotel in town. I can't remember where but they serve really great food, especially the japanese restaurant there..

But there is one thing about that restaurant..

The serving size is so darn small..

Even the main course is miniature size -.-"

and the fruits were also not spared..

Okay I lied, fruits are always served this little..

But do you know what's the best part of the dinner?

The greens were also served in small portions! ^__^" little veggies = happy zhaoyan

Don't get me wrong, the size may be small, but the quality good! Shangri la japanese restaurant! (I can't remember what was the name of the restaurant)

Inspiration~

okay I should be studying.. but heck that..

I'll just start my story now..

So while I was about to fall asleep last night, I suddenly had an inspiration.. Like how when you are drifting from this world to the other, you can hear strange sounds and see strange things?

Yeah I had one of those.. anyway, I got inspiration in music.. seriously, I could literally hear a tune, and other instruments and how they came together nicely.. No it wasn't because of all the songs I have been listening yesterday, this song was totally different. It was completely new.. and now I can't remember how it sounds like.. I hate it when that happens because it is always the same cycle(yes it happened many times before).. -- sleeping -- some music comes into my mind -- wakes up the next day -- amnesia -- .. it's as good as not having any inspiration at all..

So let's not care about that stupid thing because if I'm fated, I would remember them one day.. and then I would totally go crazy or be labelled as crazy like most of the ancient music composers.. since they hear tunes in their heads all day and their tunes aren't so simple like twinkle twinkle little star but like those where notes cover the whole page till some don't even make sense.. maybe I'll become famous, and everything I touch becomes famous too.. haha now that'll be strange..

Moving on, I decided to play the piano today. From exam pieces to random notes on the piano.. So I suddenly came upon breakeven(by the script), and remembered the tune of how a certain guy played it on the piano. Therefore, I decided to try it, since it sounded nice and simple, not like some where notes go like popiah and others where they duet with a keyboard on autoplay and you actually found out that the pianist is just playing the chords. So, I succeeded and it sounded close if not the same to what that guy on the internet played.. But it was just a tryout so it wasn't final because my dad wanted to watch his tv and I stopped..

Oh well, at least I am confirmed to have SOME talent in me..

HAH! Self praise.. very typical in my family.. it's in the genes I guess ^^
